eufy X10 Pro Omni

Still without this product despite weeks of attempted communication with Eufy. Unfulfilled order and worry we've been scammed out of £800

I have had a robot vacuum in the passed, but the technology has come on leaps and bounds since then. I chose the X10 Pro Omni as it had mopping as well as vacuum, and I needed something for mopping the kitchen. Having messy teenagers and husband, I was a little disappointed at the mopping, as it didn't clean up dried spills as much as I had hoped, and seems to go back to the docking station frequently, and didn't really finish (according to the app only did half my kitchen).
I have hard floors all downstairs (with a couple of door mats), so can only review hard floor not carpet. The vacuuming was pretty good for a robot cleaner, although like one I had previously, still struggled with corners (pushed some mess into the corners, which it couldn't clean). Overall I would say this is a good vacuum cleaner if you are using regularly, and not leaving until it gets too messy. The mopping is good, but could be better (so this is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). The robot is pretty good at not bashing into everything, so the sensors seem quite good, but it does try to get to corners, so you will get it bumping into the skirting a bit.
The app is really very good. When first used, the robot maps your rooms, you can see the layout on the app, and it is pretty good at working out changes to rooms. Once mapped, you can name your rooms, and even change the room dividing if the robot got it slightly wrong. The app allows you to customise your vacuum strength and mopping strength depending on how messy your rooms are, and you can even just select one room to clean (in my case the kitchen get cleaned more often). The app is very easy to use. I haven't yet used the Zone area, as generally I set it off to clean by room or the whole floor, but the Zone allows you to select an area (not just by room), so you can do half a room, or a specific messy area. You can also setup Scenarios, for daily cleaning and schedules for cleaning at a certain time (although I have not used these yet). You can follow the robot on the map as it cleans, and even if you don't follow it, the map shows you where the robot has been, so you can see where it has cleaned, and if there are any areas missed).

Overall I'm not disappointed with the purchase (I did get an early bird discount, for pre-ordering).

I was sceptical about buying this, I’ve had a competitors product for.a number years, which had a separate mop, although that was always getting stuck on my thresholds, my experiences of other makes had not been positive . I had been eyeing up an upgrade to my current robot vac and mop set-up, but just couldn’t find anything that appeared to tickle my fancy That all changed when I saw this, and the proper mop it has, I thought I’d give it a go despite my scepticism, safe in the knowledge of a no quibble return policy.

I’m really impressed, it’s packaged really well and everything feels solid and thoughtfully designed. The setup process couldn’t have been easier, plug it in, pair to the app and setup up the WiFi, fill the water tank and then send it on a mapping run, which for me took 6mins to map my downstairs. I was then able to add room names, and adjust room dividers etc. All in, it took me around 15mins from start (unpacking) through to being ready to run my first cleaning run.

For the first run, I used the smart mode, it correctly mopped my hard floors, lifting the mops clear when moving onto carpet or rugs. I have thick pile carpet and was worried that the mops were touching the carpet, at least it looks that way, but thankfully no marks left on the carpet and they didn’t feel damp - result!

My previous robot mop squirted water on to the floor and would then drive over the spray with a fixed mop, it did an ok job and if used daily kept the hard floors looking good, but because of the issues of it getting stuck on the thresholds I rarely ended up using it as I’d have to continually keep helping it. The difference with the X10 is like night and day, the spinning mop with the addition of the downward pressure does a great job, not that much difference to mopping manually - It’s not only really impressive, but quick too.

Moving on to the vacuum, it did an amazing job, I was surprised as how much it picked up vs my current cleaner, it was also much quieter which was unexpected, I had assumed with the much more powerful suction it was going to be a great deal louder. Thanks to the AI See, there was a lot less bumping into things like doors etc which my old one did, despite also having a camera. It was fun seeing the photos for things it had decided to avoid, although I did chuckle when it labelled one of my dogs toy bones as poop!

Overall I think it’s fab, I’ve gone from being sceptical, to now feeling the market leader (sic) is overpriced, not as technically advanced and not as good at its primary purpose of cleaning.

Already thinking of buying another one for upstairs!

the product is really good, easy to setup.
We are using for carpet and tiles. little draback I would say there are water marks on porceliain tiles, so if one mop cleans with water and another mop with dry mop may reduce the watermark but that is something with design change. Carpet cleaning is aswum, the carpet and obsturcution detection is very good. Impressed with the product, its must buy for the house cleaning. Loved it.
